- Community Arts Council of Vancouver - Reframing Relations. Download a copy of their brochure. CACV offers one day workshops for classrooms. Call them for information about grants.
- Blackie Spit - Whiterock, See the memory rocks that relate to THE 13 MOONS of the WSANEC (Saanich people). We have one copy of this resource in our resource centre but an online version of it is available on the Race Rocks website. For information about the memory rocks location, click here. An interview with the late Grand Chief Bernard Charles can be found in the Aboriginal Astronomy Kit distributed to most schools.

- Surrey Museum - Salish Stories
- Surrey Art Gallery. Check this site for exhibits relating to Aboriginal culture. Click here to see public art that has been commissioned to showcase local First Nation Artists. Surrey Arts Museum also has an art outreach program.

- Plan an overnight trip near Squamish at the Cheakamus Centre near Squamish. Day trip programs are also available.
- Burns Bog is local! It's a great place to take students to connect to land and nature.

Aboriginal Presenters List
Aboriginal Learning Services has changed the way in which we provide support for cultural presentations. Please contact Paula James for more information.
Aboriginal Learning Services has created a list of presenters from the community who are willing to come in to do presentations. You will need to book these and know that most charge a fee for their services.
